Tony Cifelli Sr. passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022. Surrounded by his loving family, he was 69 years of age.

Tony was born on January 12th, 1953 to parents Addolorato and Evelina Cifelli in the village of Cifelli, located in the city of Castelpetroso, Italy. He was the middle child, among Maria his older sister, and Carmen his younger brother. During 1970 when he was only 16, he and most of his immediate family relocated to the United States, settling in New Jersey.

While attending Montclair State University, he met Lorraine Archangeli, the love of his life, and he became the love of her life. They would later be married in 1975, on the 18th of January. The first of their three children, Anthony, was born in April of 1976. Almost two years later, they would welcome their only daughter, Christina, in March of 1978. Just shy of a decade after that, in January of 1987, they would welcome their second son Adam.

Tony was a passionate man, a self-proclaimed straight shooter who would always provide admonition and offer his insight to those around him. Tony dedicated his life to his God, becoming a baptized parishioner of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974. He would talk about his hope for the future and the good news of God’s Kingdom to all. He was a true family man, happiest when surrounded by all of them.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine, his sister Maria De Francesco, his three children Anthony, Christina, and Adam, his two children in law Daniel and Tarryn, and his beloved grandchildren Gabriella and Joshua.
